Most deaths from coronavirus in Serbia: 1,700 people passed away in October

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the highest number of deaths in Serbia was recorded in October, because more than 1,700 people with the coronavirus died in that month alone.

Namely, according to the latest data, a total of 9,995 patients with the coronavirus died in Serbia as of October 31, and on the last day of September, that number was 8,234.

It follows that in October alone the coronavirus was fatal to 1,721 people.

Statistics show that since October 4, the number of deaths has started to rise above 50 a day, and in the last week, more than 60 people have died every day from the consequences of the viral infection.

Namely, the most deaths since the beginning of the pandemic were recorded on December 4 last year, when statistics showed that 69 citizens lost fight against the virus.
